DENIC eG Celebrates 25 Year Anniversary

InterNetX - one of the largest DENIC members - congratulates the German registry on its silver Internet anniversary!

The German country code .DE was incorporated in the official list of IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) on November 5, 2011. Consequently, the .DE zone went online and has since enjoyed immense success up to today. Currently counting around 14.6 million registered .DE domains, the German ccTLD holds the second rank amongst all domain extensions, trailing .COM and ahead of .NET. 

As one of the largest DENIC members and a distinguished registrar (eco Internet Award 2011), InterNetX is particularly pleased to congratulate DENIC on its anniversary and 25 years of online success.
