InterNetX incorporates .CO backorder service in AutoDNS 3.0

InterNetX introduces a backorder service for .CO domains and starts a prize draw for a total of 20 .CO domains and solar powered chargers for smartphones among all successful backorders.

(REGENSBURG, November 14, 2011) – The .CO backorder service is the latest function InterNetX has added to its domain management software AutoDNS 3.0. The service allows AutoDNS users to register .CO domains which have not been renewed just before their cancelation, thereby increasing the chances of getting popular .CO domains before possible competitors.

In the AutoDNS 3.0 user interface, a list of .CO domains available via the .CO backorder service is displayed. Each .CO domain is listed there 15 days prior to being deleted. Following a "first-come-first-served" principle, only one binding .CO backorder will be processed per domain. If the registration is successful, the domain will be allocated for 12 months after a 5-day "Pending Delete" phase. The new backorder function gives domainers attempting to register highly profitable .CO domains a significant speed advantage.

In combination with the launch of the .CO backorder service, InterNetX has started a prize draw. Everyone who successfully completes a .CO backorder will automatically be entered. Winners will be drawn from those who register a domain with the .CO backorder service up to December 4, 2011. 20 packages consisting of a free .CO domain for a year and a solar powered smartphone charger can be won.
