Mail Proxy 2.0 - the practical virus and spam filter

The mail proxy is an effective virus and spam filter that is switched upstream of a customer system. It checks incoming mail for viruses, spam and other malware and deals with it accordingly (marking, deleting).

The new Mail Proxy 2.0 offers even more security and flexibility. The features and applications allow differentiated screening and inspection of emails. For example, you can adjust the filter levels depending on the individual character of mail traffic and apply domain-specific settings.

New features in Mail Proxy 2.0

• Different filter settings
     Whitelist (harmless emails), Blacklist (spam), Greylisting (delayed mail
     acceptance), Exclusion list (no spam or virus check for specific email
     addresses)
  
• Predefined security levels
     Individual filter settings (low, medium, high, custom)
• Quarantine function
     Suspicious emails are directed to separate quarantine area
• Filter for file types
     Suspicious file types are rejected (e.g. .scr, .jpg.pif, .exe)

Mail Proxy 2.0 can be used in the domain management system AutoDNS 3.0, as well as in the new InterNetX Server Administration Center ISAC.
