The SSL Web Server distinguishes itself through its real 256 Bit encryption. The validation is carried out by a Whois inquiry and a call from Thawte. The company which applied for the certificate is apparent to website visitors in the signed certificate.
The certificate can bring older browsers up to speed, enabling the maximum encryption rate of 256 Bit. However, this is only possible for browser versions that have an encryption rate of at least 128 Bit.

After receiving your order, Thawte begins with the verification of the applicant. In order to do this, it looks for the company in the available databases. If the applicant is verified, a telephone call is made to the specified administrative contact person. The certificate is only issued after the contact person has been reached.
