The company InterNetX GmbH, from Regensburg, is one of the three best contenders for the eco Internet Award 2011 in the category Registrar
(REGENSBURG, 30 May 2011) – The prize for German Internet business – the eco Internet Award 2011 – will be awarded at the eco Gala 2011 in Cologne on June 30, 2011. InterNetX was selected as one of the three nominees by the Verband der deutschen Internetwirtschaft e.V. (the association for German Internet business). This year, the title “Best Registrar” is being awarded for the first time, honoring innovative registrars in the Internet branch. InterNetX has distinguished itself in this area, in particular through extensive domain products, first-class service – including multilingual 24/7 support – and the user-friendliness of in-house white label solutions.
The jury, consisting of representatives from economy, science and journalism sectors, judged the applications on the basis of the user-friendliness, degree of innovation, range of services and the pricing structure demonstrated by the registrar. In this regard, the Regensburg registrar can fall back on 13 years of branch experience and has an impressive customer base. Throughout its long-running history, InterNetX has continuously developed numerous innovative solutions, including the domain management software AutoDNS 3.0, SSL Manager 2.0, DomainSafe and the AutoDNS iPhone App.
”As one of the largest DENIC members, we feel honored that we have been nominated as one of the best three registrars for the premier year of this newly created category. Our maxim is always to serve the interests of our customers and to provide first-class service 365 days a year – the eco nomination has acknowledged this,“ says Hakan Ali, Director of Sales and Marketing and founder of InterNetX GmbH.
InterNetX has 3,1 million managed domains, over 22.000 partners in its global network and more than 300 ccTLDs and gTLDs worldwide in its portfolio, making it one of the leading registrars in the B2B area of the Internet branch.
