The United Internet subsidiary InterNetX welcomes the mayor of Regensburg

The mayor of Regensburg Hans Schaidinger visits InterNetX GmbH - one of the leading international Internet Service Providers for resellers and professional users

(REGENSBURG, November 15, 2010) – The Regensburg company InterNetX, subsidiary of United Internet, received a high-ranking visit. Hans Schaidinger, who has been serving the city of Regensburg in his position as mayor for over 14 years, enjoyed a visit to one of the leading providers of domain products and hosting solutions in Europe. Domains, servers and SSL certificates are the three strongest selling product groups at InterNetX. The company is supported on the technical side by its very own first-class data center in Munich. InterNetX is one of the medium-sized companies in Regensburg that wants to keep its headquarters in the historic town center.

Thomas Mörz, CEO at InterNetX, and Hakan Ali, Sales and Marketing Director, used the opportunity to give the mayor of Regensburg a short tour through the premises. Accompanied also by Manfred Koller, Director of the Office for Economic Development, there was an abundant flow of topics for discussion. Amongst other themes, conversation also turned to the introduction of innovative products this year, such as the DomainSafe feature recently developed by InterNetX. DomainSafe protects valuable domains against unauthorized third-party access in just a few steps. As the conversation moved towards perspectives for the coming year, the companyʼs plans for expansion were also explored. North and South America are currently considered to be extremely promising for InterNetX in terms of future market growth. Local company offices in these regions are therefore set to expand and strengthen market position.
