How long a domain registration takes depends entirely on the selected domain extension (top-level domain). In AutoDNS, domains are usually registered in real time, i.e. the order is automatically forwarded to the responsible registry immediately after receiving it.

For frequently registered top-level domains (.de / .com / .net / .org / .biz / .info), registration takes only a few minutes or takes place in real time and is fully automated. For other more specific or semi-automated domain extensions, the process can take anywhere from a few hours to several days, depending on the regulations and circumstances governing the domain registration processes of the registry in question. Users can track the progress of domain registration in AutoDNS at any time.

Please note: Due to so-called DNS caching, it can take up to 24 hours until the domain can be accessed correctly after a successful registration.

Yes, there are. Each registry defines registration terms and conditions specific to each top-level domain. These have to comply with ICANN guidelines and may include other provisions. The contact details of an OwnerC, AdminC and TechC are frequently of importance and documents to provide proof may be required. For certain TLDs, registrants may be required to provide proof of residency, commercial registration or may have to prove a specific area of application of the domain.

The Trademark Clearinghouse Service (TMCH) protects trademark owners from abusive domain registrations during the introduction of new gTLDs. To provide better security for trademarks in the DNS, ICANN has mandated a centralized review mechanism. As an accredited TMCH agent, InterNetX is happy to advise trademark owners on the Trademark Clearinghouse validation process. We guide you through the process and check the submitted documents and information for completeness and other criteria. 

Registries in many countries require the AdminC (Administrative Contact) or the OwnerC (Domain Holder) to provide proof of a postal address/residence in the respective country when registering the corresponding ccTLDs. In the event that this condition cannot be met, InterNetX offers a trustee service (Domain Trustee Service) for the following TLDs: .ar, .com.ar, .ba, .berlin, .net.br, ind.br, .com.br, .hamburg, .hu, .co.hu, .id, .co.id, .or.id, .web.id, .jp, . kr, .co.kr, .biz.mm, .com.mm, .org.mm, .my, .com.my, .net.my, .org.my, .com.py, .rs, .sg, .com.sg, .sv, .com.sv.

Please note: If the trustee has to be registered as owner/registrant (e.g. for .eu), change-owner fees may apply.

Each version has been designed to meet specific market requirements. Registrars with their own accreditations can integrate them into AutoDNS.
